the League Cup is a mini league format with 5 leagues based on last seasons league ie top teams in each section were the top 5 from last season , next 5 are 2nd placed team etc. Winers and runners up to qualify. After the sections are complete 4 of the 10 qualifiers will be drawn for a play off to bring the numbers down to 8, then all should be clear. Will try to keep teams who qualify from same group apart until the final if both reach it.
