Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the winding up order was for a defunct holding company that has nothing to do with the football club, and hasn't done for some time.Originally Posted by fatfakir

Yes, but your chairman hadn't issued that "clarification" when I posted that though. And given Port Vale's recent financial history it did seem entirely plausible.

I don't really think it has been clarified. If it is the football clubs Holding Company it still affects the football club. My guess is that it was the trading company up to 1st July when he shifted trade to the newly formed company. But he still hasn't paid all the debts off prior to trading through new company.
Must have money to burn what with late filing penalties and the legal fees to remove the winding up order.
