I'm not too sure of what to make of his comments on twitter. For anyone who hasn't read it, he basically states we are after an ambitious loan signing who's a midfielder, which would be as good as a signing as any so far this summer.

Personally, by ambitious, I translate that to a player from a Premiership team. Probably even a player who you wouldn't expect to be loaned out due to being 23+ or that of a high calibre, they could probably play in the Premiership in lower team.

His comments about being as good as any so far this summer, doesn't really say a lot. There hasn't been that many signings this summer that have made me think twice! The only signing I can think of is Mccormack, but that is probably due to the cost of the transfer!

I'd have thought Ake ,Chalobah or McEacran from England, cork I think will feature at Southampton this year and Van Ginkel the same at Chelsea.

Maybe it's someone from abroad or Scotland? Tejeda maybe

Personally I don't think McChechran or Chalobah would be classed as ambitious anymore. Both have twice been loaned to clubs in this division in the past couple of seasons, so their parent club have demonstrated they are prepared to loan to Championship clubs.

Jack Rodwell would be nice.
