    Everton Poised To Sign Cristian Atsu On Loan From Chelsea.


    Sky Sports News have reported that Chelsea winger Christian Atsu wants to join Everton on loan this season.

    It’s thought that the Toffees face competition from Aston Villa and Sunderland, with rumours surfacing last week that Sunderland were front runners to sign the winger. But the Black Cats manager, Gus Poyet, has refuted those reports stating that no deal was presented. However, it is believed that Everton is Atsu’s chosen destination.

    Talks have been on-going between Everton and Players’ representatives, and have resumed today after Roberto Martinez unveiled Romelu Lukaku as his latest addition to the Everton squad.

    Atsu made 25 appearances while on loan at Vitesse last year, managing to score five goals in the process. He also has 26 appearances and five goals for Ghana since making his debut in 2012.
