Having read your messageboard about how feckin awful your fans thought Murphy was and that's what you should have expected when you sign anyone from the sh1te that is the SPL.

Based on those reasoned views Higdon will be utter p1sh. Though because he didn't come direct to you from the SPL your fans might be less inclined to label him sh1te right away.[/quote]

    Heavy ---or just bitter?

Neither... a realist, what I said is factual. People south of the border have a shocking regard for the Scottish game and most of it derived from a position of complete ignorance.

It's fair to say that most of us north of the border also think Scottish football is utter gash. Why is ok for us to slag it off and our team but not for others ?

I don't know about that. To my knowledge no survey has ever been conducted on that. Ok some Scots fans brought up on a TV diet of the English Premiership and top European teams may think that, but not everyone has been brainwashed by the media, including the Scots media I may add.

If only it was a fair comparison.
Please note, Fulham, Cardiff & Norwich, relegated from the EPL have received £60m, yes £60m as a parachute payment!
If the SPL only had a small %age of that income, we could develop the game properly up here, sign some decent players, pay some decent wages and get the crowds in again.
Instead of that, we live from hand to mouth every season, hoping for a cup win to keep our books balanced.
No wonder Scottish football is perceived to be crap!

Exactly the reality is there is plenty gash south of the border but theyd never dream of criticising their own game whereas we have media punts whose entire living is based on it. Sadly some of our own buy into their nonsense.
