This thread was started on Kumb and i hope it spreads through all Hammer sites.

It would be a good gesture on the part of the West Ham United to produce a shirt in the style that was worn in 1914 with thes of the players who were killed during the First World War in a small panel on the back (Fred Griffiths, Arthur Stallard, William Jones, Frank Cannon, Frank Costello and William Kennedy).

The profits of the sales of the shirt could go to one of the charities for soldiers. I am sure many fans would be willing to buy these shirts to show their feelings about these men who died for the “sake of others”. Maybe the team could even wear them for one game.
