    Frost - Clough IV

Saw this after watching the England - Brazil 1970 link...

...Can't imagine any managers being this frank these days

...I love the fact Cloughie can't even say Revie's (it's all a bit Harry Potter -'He who must not bed'...!!)

Say it is not so Herbie. Granted he was full of himself, but just look at what he achieved with relatively small clubs such as Derby and Notts Forest.

A truly outstanding manager. One for the ages.

England could have achieved something with him at the helm, as far as I am concerned.

Flair: not just Forest or Derby. For me his greatest achievement was getting Hartlepool put of the 4th division. For as long as I could remember they were always candidates for re-election to the league after finishing in the bottom 4.
I also remember reading that he took a coach drivers licence to drive the team to away matches because they were so skint that they could[!]324;t afford to pay for a driver!! Best manager that England never had the "Cojones" to give the job to.
