Everton Linked With Move For Hatem Ben Afra?

Everton boss admits he wants winger as Ben Arfa linked with move.

NEWCASTLE United outcast Hatem Ben Arfa has been linked with a move to Everton.

The Frenchman is out of favour at Newcastle United after manager Alan Pardew expressed doubts about his professionalism.

Ben Arfa has been forced to train away from the first team this summer, and has only figured in two pre-season friendlies for the club’s Under-21s.

And he has been linked with a move to Everton after Toffees manager Roberto Martinez admitted he wants to sign a winger before the transfer window shuts.

“It’s only one position (we need),” Martinez said. “We want to take as long as we can to see how quickly we can get the injured players back to being available for the first-team.

“Probably another body would help for the September month when we have three competitions to fight for, and we’ll carry on working hard on that.

“Wide player is the position we want to bring in but in terms ofs, it is too early t

He has a good turn of pace and can be a handful, but he could easily unsettle the squad. Probably best to avoid.

Exactly on both count lads. Focus and cohesion are the things we need to keep in flow from the team now. Like BBS has said all along; it has to be the right character of any player which is a main factor of them joining; Something Moyes didn't give a toss about - bringing in the likes of Homesick Andy Johnson, Shady Shandy Van Der Meyde and LSD Drenthe.

As for Newcastle, Nevermind just "HasBeenBenana" - He's just one of their many jokes on legs these days. Truth is there's not one barcode player who would get anywhere near Finch Farm, nevermind our first team.

    Different league eh Alan?
