Rodwell: I've Been Fit For A Year And A Half

Got a good price (£12m?) for him at the time, considering the problems he was having with injuries. Best of luck to the lad. Hopefully he can now move on with his career.

Rodwell Fit To Take The Stage For Sunderland.

If Jack Rodwell had his time again he probably would have stayed at Everton and given City a miss.

Jack played just 16 league games in two seasons at City. Five of them last season when he was fit for most of the time.

    Rodwell:

"Last season, over the course of the whole season, I was injured for about three weeks. I was fit and available for 47 of the 57 games.

"That might surprise quite a lot of people because they probably didn't see my on the team sheet and just assumed I must be injured.

"I've been fit for a year-and-a-half now. I'm just ready to go."
