Play the XI who started the Cardiff game.

Continuity is key and rotating your players are for clubs like Arsenal.

Agree. You try and get a run going, and confidence is important. A win, takes us into the weekend game with Blackpool confident. You don't play 11 players who don't start games for us regularly. You blood one or two alongside the experienced players.

i think bowyer will play a second string going off last season against carlisle. not worth risking picking up injuries for more important league games..

burnley never had the options we have as you don`t have enough players.

Just to prove that you are wrong again because it's good fun...

(Bear in mind this stage last season, and making the same amount of changes as you have in your OP)

    Cisak
    O'Neill
    Long
    Edgar
    Lafferty
    Marney
    Hewitt
    Wallace
    Stanislas
    Gilchrist
    Vokes

sorry, should have said enough QUALITY players worthy of first team football..

anyway, it`s irrelevent of the fact i think bowyer will play a second string line up, whether you judge that as wrong or not..

I`m not bothered which keeper we play , but feel we must play the back four who will play against Blackpool, which is Lowe,Hanley,Baptiste and Olsonn. They need game time together.
I would definitely play Marshall,as he also needs some minutes on the pitch.Brown as well if fit,for the same reason. The rest I`m not too bothered who plays.

    Eastwood
    Henley Baptiste Songo'o Olsson
    Marshall Dunn Williamson Taylor
    Brown (or Gestede) Varney

A competitive team with a hard edge - often what you need against lower-division opposition.
Obviously the bench should have some first-choicers on stand-by.

Hope Bowyer doesnt play his strongest players in any part of the pitch. If they get a bad injury in this game, could derail the season.
If the squad players cant grind out a win, maybe they shouldnt be in the squad?
    Id go: Eastwood - Henley,OConnell,SongoO,Olson - Mahoney,Lowe,Evans,Marshall - Brown,Varney.

Subs: Kean,Baptiste,King,Taylor,Green,Dunn & Rhodes. Three more wingers on the bench to try and give the front two a bit of service if needed. Dunn & Rhodes to come on if we are chasing the game
    - lets hope not!!

Having now thought about it you`re right we should not risk any first choice players . I`d go .
    Kean
    Henley Songoo O Connell Taylor
    Mahoney Lowe O Sullivan Lenihan
    Dunn
    Varney
