Not ineffective playing wide right, just not as brilliant as in the middle. We have other options on the right that are also effective. None as effective as him in the middle.
Does that help?
we`re all agreed he was man of the match against cardiff right..?
ok then, if he`s ineffective playing from the wide right, then how could this be..?

not really, as i`ve seen no evidence at all that he`s brilliant playing central. just opinions from numerous fans with nothing to back up their claims..Originally Posted by DanRrr

Picked a loose ball up in the centre of the pitch moved forward with purpose then smashed it into the corner from 25 yards.
If you'd have watched the game against Cardiff then you'd have seen this fairly good example.just saying like.
The OP asks why when playing half a game out wide can this man be proclaimed MOM (which he agrees with!). This, when based against the debate that this is not his best position and uses that to base the argument that he scored from it: ergo it fits!
Misses the point that overall when running through the players present his 'contribution' tops everyone else's. Elevated by the fact he produced despite the positional 'change'.
Brilliant? Not entirely . Top performer in this current squad ; certainly.
Has said by many, he can play wide right , but he comes inside to deliver the impact.

As evidence is used to form opinions, I doubt evidence would help you, as it would simply lead to the formation of an opinion, and that's not what you're looking for.
Sorry I can't be more helpful. But if you're looking for non opinion based evidential truth regarding the role of a football player, you'll be waiting an age, (and that applies to anyone). When all the evidence is compiled and studied
As in the words of Joy Division.
Lowe, Lowe, will tear us apart again.
