    Start of season

Why oh why do we stick to August to May for our season??? Every year we (Scottish teams) meet teams who are well into their season and therefore have an edge on fitness and match sharpness. Lets play June to March (or whatever) and if by some miracle a team was still in Europe beyond that I'm sure we would be happy to take our chances. This getting papped out by teams that are certainly no better than we produce is costing money AND co-efficient points. C'mon you 'guardians' of our game actually do something to help Scottish football!!!!!!!!!!

Couldnt agree more not necessarily for european football but for fan comfort and playing conditions. A Season from March to November would be far better plus you may get better commercial tv deals to cover summer months and in World Cup and Euro Championship seasons we could move the fixtures for 3 / 4 weeks.

Problem with summer football people do other things like go on holiday play golf go out with family places etc etc in the winter their is not a lot going on so a day at the footie is an option where in summer their is plenty of options. I may be wrong but dont think we will ever see summer football in my lifetime

People do things all year round including holidays. Thats a big part of footballs problems 40 / 50 years ago people has few alternatives nor the disposable income for other things thats has long since changed. So a move of season wouldnt have a fraction of the impact it would have had back then.
