    Ali El Zubaidi

Apparently joined on loan from Hamilton. A tall, 19 year old central defender. Likely to be pitched straight in against Albion as Little is injured.

Good we have a bit of height that back but my concern is his experience as he is only 19.
At this level imo you at least need one big experienced defender in the centre of defence, the lad Tokley who played against us in pre-season for Brora Rangers was superb, won everything in the air and ideal for our young defence, notice Elgin City had Marvin Andrews as a trialist for them on Saturday and he got M.O.M..

Craig Wedderburn signed for Stirling Albion from St Andrews he could have been worth a shout as I thought he was unlucky when he was at the Red Lichties before and was played out of position at full-back, also a great lad as met him on many a Scotland trip.

A.F.C.1320 thinks he may lack experience, if my memory serves me well Joe Carson was only 19 when he came to A.F.C. and what a player he turned out to be.

I questioned when we signed Lee Erwin and well I was left with egg on my face after 20 minutes. Hamilton have a great record of producing good young talent, so fingers crossed.

For once the SPFL actually have made a good ruling with the player able to play for the parent club in the development league and ourselves. - view external link
