TBH Kouyate was one of the better ones imo.

And i wouldnt know what Samantha was really thinking or what his idea were, but there wasnt any change after the subs, so your guess is as good as mine.

All icould see was too much waiting for the ball, too much space and time given to them. We let them dictate whilst still seemingly applying our own casual approach to the game. Thats how i saw it.

It's all well and good saying it's down to the players to perform, but you can't absolve the manager of responsibility at the end of the day.
FS style of management is no longer congruent with the stated ambitions of the club. The quicker the board realise this the better, because right now we're rudderless ship heading straight for the rocks.
The importance of having a proper plan can't be ignored. Palace were dreadful last week but good today, under Colin W#nker !

Allardyce out ? Yes for me and it's not knee-jerk, most have been saying it for 12 months.

And if they do, do it with time to give a new man time to put his ideas in place.

We can consider ourselves lucky we played Palace before they got a manager because today they would have beaten us.

I'm not saying Allardyce is the best manager in the world or even the right man for our club when you see the difference between our style of football and southampton's. it's obvious which manager plays the more attractive football crisper faster passing, pass and moving lots of energy and pressing in midfield n the right areas. Southampton without a doubt where the better team than us today that doesn't mean that they will perform at that level every time

It really is either change the manager or let him do it his way. We're ****ed if this carries on much longer.

    Ammeread.

I don't hate Sam. I hate his tactics. He's a one trick pony and the new style will probably work better on the road as there'll be more room.

But at home they're confused and nervous, maybe because they can't adapt, maybe because some of them aren't good enough.

But as I say, it's up to the manager to pick the team and not his favourites. And to get the tactics right.

@ palerider or maybe it's also the pressure the crowd put them under. The Boleyn is a hard place to play when the crowd isn't behind the team I've seen it many times

"the players where just walking about, you can't blame Allardyce for that. He is not on the pitch"

so its not his job to motivate from the technical area or during the half time talk...wtf does he do to be 13th highest paid manager in the world then?

Can't accept that at all and that's no excuse for such ineptitude.

West Ham fans are not exceptionally bad when things aren't going well.
We put up with (of course we have plenty of practice) a lot and stick by the team.

This bloke has created all his own problems with awful tactics, arrogance and refusal to take a single iota of blame.

dont take this the wrong way...but you seem as bad as BFS when it comes to excuses...pressure from home crowd, sam not on the pitch...

these are highly paid pros, if they cant take a bit of pressure then theyre in the wrong game...literally

honestly , they are two of the lamest excuses ive ever heard
