So we beat palace using the same tactics and the same team as today then it was positive but today it was negative.

We played a lot better against palace passing and moving and better energy yet we don't now how to play football like that.

And we also heard the half time team talk without being in the dressing room or anywhere near the vicinity.

Perhaps we played better against Palace because they are a very poor side who had neither the technical ability nor tactical nous which Southampton showed against us.

Their manager has also managed at a higher level than Allardyce, probably indicating he has a better skill set than our manager.

Your question is completely irrelevant, which is why I won't answer. Your assumption that the team played poorly because they weren't being motivated by Allardyce is a ridiculous one. I could just as easily ask who's job is it to respond to the managers motivation.

Every time a team doesn't turn up like we didn't today you can't blame the manager every team fails to turn up at multiple points during the season even the teams with the most motivating of managers.
