    MATCH THREAD: IRONS V SAINTS

    The Boyeln
    3pm

    I expect

    Adrian

    O'brien
    Tomkins
    Reid
    Cresswell

    Noble
    Kouyate

    Zarate
    Downing
    X

    Y

X-choose from vaz te, Diame, Morrison, Valencia or Poyet

    Y-cole, Valencia, sakho.

Pretty confident we'll gain our first home win and head into the break quite relaxed.

Saints will have a poor away support as only took 1800 allocation, on general sale, KFAQ and still not sold out.

They are a decent enough side but with the way the summer business has panned out I'd be seriously expecting us to finish above them comfortably.

Last season we won this fixture 3-1 and drew 0-0 at their place.

I'll go another 3-1 victory, cole, zarate and kouyate with the goals for me.

13/2 for us to win by 2 goals. - view external link

I agree with your team but I believe Cole & Jarvis will be in the two positions that you left empty.

    2-1 win

What HamsterCheeks has yet to master, is to actively manage the game through his use of substitutions.

If he became more dynamic in this area, then his starting eleven wouldn't be viewed with such a critical eye.

I would suggest this fixture is an opportunity for some further game-time for Valencia.

Let's see if he shows, the promise that the boards investment suggested. He might turn out to be Ecuadorable after all.

well if that crap player valencia starts we are bound to lose!

a draw, Lardman's tactics and our obvious inability to score.

All teams have their bogey sides and then those teams that they do well against.

We play Southampton well. West Ham are unbeaten in their last five Premier League matches against Southampton (W2, D3).

The last two meetings at Upton Park were won 4-1 and 3-1.

The Cobra has scored four goals in five Premier League games against Southampton.

Which highly amusing trivia, leaves me predicting a solid 2-0 home win. The Cobra (again) and Noble.
