There certainly are more factors at play, not least of which has been putting the onus on him to play expansive attacking football. Something he seems incapable of doing.
The board are at least as culpable simply for not biting the bullet and either backing the Allardyce way -- negative grinding percentage football -- or getting in a manager more suited to clubs stated ambitions.
FS will definitely get a run at making things work this season, so if he does go it wont be this side of November.
