Could hoddle be new john lyall

Since John lyall left have we had a manager who is a proper philsopher of the game. Redknapp played some exciting football and zola had potential but way down the track.

Glenn holddle has spent his time away from professional football working with his own soccer skills school for former professionals which would highlight his flare for tactics and working with young players which when combined with his style and success at Chelsea and swindon could possibly promise us the greenwood/lyall manager that we all crave.
A huge pipe dream but never mind

    Afternoon mate

It would be nice if Hoddle would be the man when we move to the OS, he plays the game the correct way ie pass and move and advocates playing football one way ...and that's on the floor.

As to whether he could be the new Johny Lyall...never in a million years !!.

yes please, I know he went a bit strange with Eileen but I think he should be England manager if he doesn't want to take us into the OS

My choice would be Bilic but I wouldn't have a problem with Hoddle, providing he's dumped his association with that stupid mare Eileen Drewery and all the religious mumbo jumbo.

Hoddle? Yes, let's replace one mediocre manager with a decade out of date mediocre manager.
Maybe time has put an awful lot of gilt edging on Hoddle's managerial achievements for some.

Some people and not very nice people (not me) call that area the cabbage patch.
Very disrespectful and rude if you ask me which is why you will never see me publicising it.
