    back to basics

that`s what any team conceding like we are needs to do. try to be solid and hard to beat first and foremost. after that we are still capable of nicking a goal with the players we have. the emphasis HAS to be taken off attacking for now..

any other approach and it should be bye bye bowyer for me.

Its not as though we are gung ho attack attack attack , infact at times I think we sit too deep and dont commit players forward . Its that we seem to sit off and let the opposition pass around us . So you are right it is an organisational problem and at the end of the day the manager takes the blame .
That said I dont think replacing Bowyer now would be good for the club . He has done a great job since taking over and has steady the ship . OK he may not get us promotion or top six , but as a football club and strange as it may sound that may not be the most important thing right now .

JR/Saxo - it's not that clear-cut, surely. Last season, he did put together a number of clean sheets, but he was then criticised for being too cautious.
Like you, I put a huge premium on having a dynamic tackler playing in front of the back four. Unlike you, I don't think Lowe is that man. In fact, we have two or three players who SHOULD BE ok in that role, but none of them has looked convincing.
The answer, therefore, may be a five-man midfield against the better teams. The problem is, who gets dropped - Rhodes or Gestede?
We don't know yet how good the new players are, but is GB going to take dramatic measures (wholesale changes),

Spot on Aucks. A bit more boring to watch, but may help grind out results and protect the back 4 a bit more.
