Barrow are in a very healthy position. They seem to have approximately 17 players of the same high quality in their first team squad of 22.

The Barrow starting 11 (plus 3 subs) scrap it out in one match and just-and-so win. Then 3 changes are made for the next match (without losing any quality) and then that team just-and-so wins. The team will not get fatigued.

Every player knows that in every match he has to be 'at it' because of the strength of the squad. If a player has to miss a couple of matches (injury / red card) then that fits in with the normal 'resting' policy. When the heavy / hard grounds come and there are lots of Saturday / Tuesday fixtures Barrow will take a firm grip on that league.

The new money has primarily been spent on the playing squad but shortly the ground will gradually be improved.
