I notice he wasn't even on the bench glad Steele had a good game though hopefully he will keep the place in goal.

Thanks sven would like to think that even if robbo recovers for the watford game Steele should start.

based on what I saw on the stream yesterday, without a doubt Robin. We all know that won't happen though, (unless Robbo does a bit of fake limping)

As much as I like Robbo, then looking at comments/reports on Steele, it is a bit of a no brainer.
But, he is on a hefty salary (that we would be unable to carry).
So, given GB has a brain, I see a mutual agreed pay off in the offing.
Common sense has to prevail when a changing of the guard comes due.

Well lets seriously hope so. Robbo is too expensive to warm the bench(but in no way has been the passenger the other non-performers were like Murphy,Etuhu etc)so an honourable settlement with plenty of complimentary noises could suit everyone...

Am I right in thinking that his contract expires at the end of the season?if this is the case we could be in a spot of bother as a transfer embargo would prevent us signing Steele thus would be left with Eastwood or Keane.

He had 2 yrs left on his contract whilst recocvering from his blood clot problem.
The world of football works in mysterious ways, I am sure the powers that be will have all loopholes covered, as much as I appreciate your concerns regarding the transfer embargo robin, imo the best way forward is dont look too far back.
