West Ham v QPR - Official Match Thread

Seeing as Blackdiamond f.ucked the game up yesterday I'll get this one rolling.

A win against QPR is pretty much a must. We'll be taking a two week break after the game & the players picked will want to impress the boss as we'll have a few players back from injury by the time of our next home game against Citeh on October 25th (maybe even Carroll on the bench).

They have only won the one game this season - a 1-0 home win against Sunderland (funnily enough that's Sunderlands only loss against 5 draws) - but seemed to have played decent in all but two games, both 4-0 losses (Spurs & Man Utd).

They have a decent but aging squad and I think the key to beating them is a fast attack - which we now possess.

In the past we have played them 59 times with 21 wins, 19 draws & 19 losses - although we've only played them four times in the last 20 years & twice in the last ten.

We will be missing Kouyate (a huge loss in my opinion) but Noble could well be back in the squad. I can't comment h

I think we will smash them 4 or 5-0
    Southampton could have had 10

As long as they don't get a free kick on the edge of our area we should be fine.

Hopefully all out attacking okay goes towards rio as he is having a mare!! Last thing we need to do is applaud him endlessly before the game as his confidence must be shot to bits right now.

Qpr are terrible, if they beat us they are equal points with us. So for the love god please west ham. Thump them!!

Am actually worried mr Nolan will be starting!! Hope we see Zarate, think this is the kind of midfield he can have some joy against but would like to see us start with the same eleven bar demel

Beat Liverpool, give the Manure a run for their money on their manor. Points to a loss at home against London rivals.

But this is a new look Hammer squad with a new look Sam, ( I hope )

    Nolan will start as captain.

Fatman won't be able to stop himself.
