Yes, got a feeling that Malky Mackay, Chris Hughton & Neil Lennon are on the short list. The managers that we're in for, are all available, so this would make sense.

I have a feeling that Malky won't be our next manager, I've noticed that Chris Hughton's odds seem to be shortening and I wouldn't be surprised to see him as our next manager.

Hughton won't rock the boat and he's a very experienced manager, he did a great job at Newcastle and he worked wonders at Birmingham where he had no money to spend. I just think Hughton would be a good fit for the club and especially Gartside.

The quiet man gary Mmm, well hughton would come under consideration for many Bolton fans im sure but id be slightly concerned that our bunch of slackers wouldnt get the kick up the jacksy they deserve & thats why id much prefer a kick arse manager like brownie or malky who wouldnt take any s hit, tony mowbray doesnt really fill me with much enthusiasum either

Anyone else noticed that odds on Garry Flitcroft have shortened greatly the last 24 hours

He's now only 5/1 with William Hill, previously 33/1

I wouldn't be surprised if Gartside didn't go for Nigel Clough.
It's rumoured in Sheffield that he's had the call from Gartside asking if he wants to be considered.
Clough is good with bringing in good prospects from the lower leagues. Tactically he has some strange ideas and once a player gets on the wrong side of him he is finished. However, with saying that, he would be a good choice.

Latest odds* at Sky Bet place Mackay (5/1) in third position in the race to become the next Trotters boss, while Lennon (16/1) and Hughton (20/1) are currently considered as outside options in a list that also includes Tony Mowbray (9/2), Steve Clarke (8/1), Nigel Clough (8/1) and Wanderers' academy coach Jimmy Phillips (8/1).
