Little tip for Chrome users (probably firefox as well I'd guess) In Chrome click on settings, scroll down the page and click on show advanced settings, look for Privacy, then click content settings.
Look for plug-ins and change the run automatically button to click to play. This will have the effect of stopping any flash content on a given web page from playing. If you need anything to play, simply click the jigsaw puzzle piece you will see in the flash element you want to start.
