UK only nation in G7 to record rise in inequality 21st cent

The report, which calculates that total global wealth has grown to a new record – $263tn, more than twice the $117tn calculated for 2000 – found that the UK was the only country in the G7 to have recorded rising inequality in the 21st century

“In the UK, successive governments have failed to get to grips with rising inequality. This report shows that those least able to afford it have paid the price of the financial crisis whilst more wealth has flooded into the coffers of the very richest.”

Must have been terrible reporting since the uk is neither a country or a nation.

Yes if we had voted Yes, poverty would have been abolished in Scotland by 1st October.

Or was it 1st November, I can't remember.

Show me proof that anyone said that.

What the Yes campaign did say was that they wanted to help create a more equal society. A society that is better for everyone, including the rich, as crime goes down, making it a safer place to live and giving everyone a better quality of life.

I can understand some people thinking we are 'Better Together' but I can't understand anyone other than the filthy rich thinking that a fairer society is a mad idea.

The scenes in Glasgow City Centre in Friday 19th September would prove that not only was it the Facist Sevco fans indulging in GIRUY, but they were only doing so because their rights tae fly a fleg and call themselves British were preserved. If there's is a more stupid and subhuman species on the planet than them, they have yet tae be discovered.
