    Addicks v Wanderers tonight

You are doing OK this season whilst we are the absolute pits in both defence and attack so on paper it looks like a regulation home banker.
We have a new manager so there may be an element of "new manager bounce" but sadly Lennon has the same players to work with so the smoke and mirrors won't last forever.
Most Wanderers fans are less concerned about the result than the performance as we need a sign that there is still a chance of avoiding relegation despite our financial worries and **** poor squad.
Wish you well, but I'm hoping that whoever is selected for the Wanderers tonight goes all out to impress the new manager and puts in a performance such as we haven't seen yet this season.

    Hi Wanderlust

Charlton suffered their first defeat against Bournemouth so it's going to be a tricky match tonight after your win against Birmingham and with a new manager.

There have been quite a few draws which could've been wins and also some lucky wins but if the defence holds up tonight I would hope for a draw at least.

I remember travelling to Bolton when both teams were in the Premiership, it seems like ages ago now but that was in the days when Sam Allerdyce was manager and had your team set up in a very organised and purposeful fashion.

A lot of water under the bridge since the Fat Sam days - mostly flowing downhill - at pace. We are currently in a "rebuilding phase" which basically means we have a bunch of past-it has-beens trying to hold the fort until either our youngsters come through or we get some money from somewhere.
Our ambition for this season is survival and that may be a lot to ask without investment.

We are truly rubbish this season so anything approaching a decent performance is probably the best we can hope for.

Anyway, hope you have a disaster tonight but that the rest of the season goes well

It turned out to be a hard fought win the for the Addicks in the end especially the 2nd half. Good luck for the rest of the season.
