It ought to have been a lot, lot more...

against a very poor team. However as I predicted 3.0 I'm happy. Shame about my other predictions but never mind it's happy days in Ldb land. Great to see the usual suspects plus Bk before the game. Caught Bc scurrying down Goldsmith Avenue after the match, trying to avoid me no doubt

    I agree...Carlisle were very poor.
But am really pleased for the 3 goalscorers.
Also pleased Andy is drafting in his nippers and gave 2 of the a run out today.

We counted 20 corners is that a record? Really enjoyed the game at long last
Pompey came out of the blocks firing!

Record or not what matters is that nothing came from any of them

Converting corners into goals we are not good at.

I'm not going to get excited until some sort of decent run of results and consistent form occurs.

Seemingly takes a lot to please you these days BC.

Well you're half right because Robinson got on the end of two corners 1st half & should've scored twice, then we had about 3 pinballs in their box from corners 1st half all that could quite easily ended up as goals.
So reality is yesterday we actually looked very dangerous from corners.

    Not at all Gun.

Just realistic and like so many of the corners taken keeping my feet on the ground

Looking dangerous is OK but converting the chances is the end product I am hoping four

0 from 20 is not impressive

The 3 we got from open play were a delight but we have had a couple of false dawns this season so lets see how we deal with Plymouth away
