Having just watched it (a few times), I really don't know why Bowery was sent off.

We have got to appeal that one.

I've seen it several times on TV and there doesn't look anything in it. However at the game I was sat just behind the linesman albeit 15 rows back and from that angle it looked a clear stamp.

I immediately said 'he's off' and as soon as I saw the lino beckon the ref over I knew it was game over for the lad.

On Sky Sports News Matt le Tissier was amazed by the red card as was Geoff Stelling.
I've watched it about 20 time. Ridiculous decision.
Hope the club appeal.

Spoiled the game for me IMO it was a yellow card at worst there player was all over him

Still not sure whether ref had already actually blown for a free kick to them anyway
