Thread: FEAR FOR THEIR PLACES

    FEAR FOR THEIR PLACES

I don't know about others but I feel short-changed by a team who seem to have it in them - but very rarely seem to want to make the effort. They only turn in a performance when their careers depend on it. Hopefully the new manager clears the team out and starts to re-build - it will take the players a long time to re=gain my respect!!!!

Sort of agree with your post. Seems it took McCall's departure for them to get the finger out. Be interesting going forward if tonight's effort, committment and desire was a one-off payback for the ex-Gaffer, or a realisation they've been imposters for the past 2 months.

They have short changed the fans from the start of the season whoever comes in will need to bring in at least 4 players in the window and get shot of some dead wood

It could also be relief - who knows. Perhaps they were demotivated for whatever reason? Clearly something wasn't right off the park but who knows what it was.
