    Prediction League Anoraks v 'Wall

    Same rules apply as always

Will update ASAP . I am still in hospital and won't be out until next Thursday at the earliest.
One of my broken ribs has perforated my lung. It's not too serious but serious enough to keep me under observation.

    Cheers FL

Glad to see you are on the mend mate.
not very confident with the lions at the moment.
not sure if we can win but our huge support should lift them.

Evening Claw: In fact French roads are very good, I was caught out on a very minor country lane which I suppose are not maintained on a high priority level.
Anyway the first 24 hours were probably the worse that I have ever experienced in my life..the pain, being immobilsed and not being able to get wink of sleep.
Then the other night on French TV there was an absolutely first rate documentary on the First World War. It was narrated by a guy who had the role of being a soldier and describing the conditions and what it was like in the battles of La Somme,Ypres,La Marne,Verdun and the terrible Chemin des Dames.
Footage of the dead and mutilated were stomach churning to say the least...and there I was complaining about my bloody coller bone and busted ribs!!
Those guys were made from a diffrent metal. God bless them all.
