This could work out alright for us...

Clarke is being tipped as new Celtic manager, likely after the Euros. McInnes has been linked with the Scotland job before and would be high on their list of candidates you'd imagine. McInnes gets offered the Scotland job and off he goes without a massive pay off.

What's Scotland's football team ever done to you?

And in this scenario who do we get as our new manager?

Could be attractive to McInnes. Normally you’d say he was too young to be an international manager, but he’d be thinking he only had to set up teams to avoid losing half a dozen games a year rather than 40.

I’m not sure how high up he’d be on the shortlist to be honest , his stock has fallen in recent seasons and although he’s only got a year left on contract it would still be a significant amount to pay us compensation.
I think there might be better options available to be honest .

I can’t see us looking for compensation if we get a chance to get rid of him for nothing.

It would be a good job for him because it would mean he could get the good out of his season ticket at Pittodrie.
Give how he’s a bigger Dons fan than any of us.

Hello cheerleader. McInnes has said it himself....he won’t be resigning. Why would anyone stick up for the most boring manager in the history of Aberdeen Football Club is beyond me. 6 matches we went without a goal. Bravo, what an achievement as Aberdeen manager. Even Steve Paterson and Mark McGhee didn’t stoop to that level of negativity.

Plus he can still pick Considine.

And for sure Lennon has got a bit of fight about him and will have a go.

There might some managers that that have done better considering their resources but Lennon is most definately not one of them.

Lennon has a squad that's probably worth around £100 million and his team have done nothing more than marginally better than Aberdeen.

Cant believe that anyone would even consider the possibility... Havent seen too much evidence of Lennon's bit of fight in his team's performances.

Here is a topical question for you lot. You have a choice between Lennon or McInnes as Aberdeen manager for next season, so who do you pick?
