I wonder if his first attempted signing will be his lovechild Sam the donkey Cosgrove, to this day it still amazes me that McWinless openly stated that the donkey would go an to be a better striker than Adam Rooney was for the club, what a load of bollox Del

    Anyway
Ah the best at Killie min

He'll soon have them playing the expansive style of football he's famous for.

I wonder what Kilmarnock fans feel about the appointment?

Tremendous journalism apparently it was a self imposed break for management that was keeping Derek out the game. Later in the article says he got turned down from a number of jobs sounds like no one was daft enough to hire him.

Agree - bit of a coup for a club of their level.

He’ll do them fine. He’s a more than capable SPFL manager and will get them up, maybe not this year tbf, and consolidate them back in the prem which is about their level.

Killie have always been an industrial and functional team, so he’ll suit them fine. If we’re lucky, he might want some of our dross like Kennedy and McLennan too 🤞

Don’t get the animosity tbh, he did a good job overall here, just stayed too long and got given a ridiculous contract (which wasn’t his fault). He also always represented the club well.

Good luck down there Del, except if/when you play us obviously…
