Whelan was given a 6 week ban and fined £50,000 on before 31/12/14
So by my reckoning that suspension was up 2 weeks ago?
Sorry to say it but DW just doesn't care enough to drag himself away from Barbados and sort out this mess...until he can be seen as the saviour of the club??
If we go down (which to be fair looks odds on) then it won't be DW's fault (he'll say) it will be because the FA suspended him!!!
You can't take anything away from what he's done for the club & the town but it just feels like he's deserted us all in our hour of need!
