I thought Blackburn's goal was well offside though, watched it on you tube and it looked even more offside

[quote="Howie5o"]5) My strongest feeling, though, is that this total dependence on the manager to motivate the team is a red herring? Don't the players want to win games? Don't they want to get into the play-offs? Don't they want to test themselves in the PL? Are we really saying they can only be motivated by the manager being nasty to them? Bloody hell - are they robots or wimps?

    4) We tend to ignore the OTHER team. Bolton got a roasting in the first half, so THEIR manager and THEIR players came out fired up after half-time. Just what you'd expect. Matches very rarely follow the same pattern throughout.

Is that not a contradiction Auks ..point 5 saying players dont need motivating yet point 4 Lennon turns the game around with a good half time *******ing ?..im sure he did ..and changed the game ..now does GB have that ability ?..suppose we ll never really know but if his touchline demeanour during a game and after match comments are anything to go by ..th

Your right-back was playing him on. Must have been because he didn't even appeal for off-side.
