I was having a moan about this cr@ppy BBC documentary about the 50 greatest FA Cup moments, presented by the drug test dodging Rio Ferdinand and some woman whose I forget.
Didn't see or hear any mention of Saints upsetting the odds and defying the predictions of all the so-called experts of the time. A second tier giant killer beating the mighty Manchester United in the FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium on May 1st 1976.
For the avoidance of any doubt, history recalls that the TROPHY was presented by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth to the WINNERS, Southampton FC.
