    No! And I would hope to see him in charge at the start of next season. Sticking with SP will pay off.

    I'm inclined to agree. Even Cloughie didn't get it right in his first full season 1976-77. He couldn't do much in the previous one either 1975-76. Only in 1977-78, we squeaked in at Bolton's expense in the final game if I recall correctly.

    Of course Pearce is no Clough, and never will be. But he should be given time, like Clough Jr and even Jackett got at Derby and Millwall.

    The problem is Fawaz expects some kind of result for his investment and to be fair, it's not wrong either. Davis brought the club to its knees in the final months of his tenure and in many ways, the problems on the field is manifesting itself again, even Pearce admitted it as much.
