    Aberdeen: 24h on

Sunday's result was entirely predictable but we'll be in a real contest on Saturday. A win a Dens would put us back on track. - view external link

Problem we have is being lowest scorers in the league, feel it might be time to put Sutton on the bench and try something different by playing with some pace up front could do a lot worse than play Dom Thomas and Henrik Ojamaa,
keep the ball on the deck and get the Dundee defence turning towards their own goal instead of the physical battle they would enjoy with the high balls up to Sutton, where they only have to win the second ball from any of his flick ons.

This has been my thinking for a while now. It has no reflection on John Sutton as a player, as he is given very little to work with. We need to do something different, as the system as it is now, is achieving nothing.

Sutton has proved for years that if you give him service, he'll score goals in the SPL. However, if we're incapable of giving him that service you need to try another solution with a striker who can make something happen on his own. It's slightly unfair on Sutton as there are more deserving candidates to be dropped but such is life.
