No. Best centre half we have and although hen ales mistakes he's better than the others.

What about Morgan? Poor yesterday and for sometime. Out of his depth sadly in this league and not leading the team as a captain should. Problem is the replacement is Broadfoot so we know that's not going to improve anything.

Been saying it for a while Brin.

The signing we've been crying out for is a quality centre half who scores from corners. Last time at this level we could rely on 10 goals a season from our two centre halves.

Think the perfect signing would be a season long loan for Harry Maguire, then push Arnie into centre midfield, with either Frecklington or Newton.

You can only base the answer to brins question on who we have available now. He didn't ask the question 'should we sign a better ch'.

Given the current squad the option we have is to play Broadfoot and Morgan. I know arnie makes mistakes that has led to the odd goal. The question Id ask is how many more would we concede week in week out with Broadfoot and Morgan?

Absolute nonsense to drop Arni for a start.

He was MOM yesterday. He was clearly fouled running up to their first goal and was unfortunate for the second.

He is the ONLY defender at the club who has can pass a ball and bring it calmly out of defence.

There might be a case for starting him in midfield as he will be able to split open defences with his vision. However if you do that you are left with a back line of hoofers and the alleged new style of play which Evans has introduced will suffer.

If you get a ball playing centre half by all means put him in midfield.

I for one would never pick Paul Green again. He is not fit enough to last and his judgement his poor. I also wish we had a point for overtime he got caught on the ball. Time to sell Green.

I am surprised that fans believe Evans comments about Arnason. Kari is clearly able to take criticism and picking on Arni takes the criticism away from the younger players .That's why Evans does it.Everyone has a threshold though a

Arneson man of match Jesus...not in a million years. Was completely wrong side of the attacker even if there was an arm up. Lightweight in the second too but they did get a lucky bobble in the scramble...mom hamill ward or barmby...all looked good just had a habit of getting tangled with other players but these 3 will make a difference we need to give patience and support the team met a week ago ffs.

He is a good player. He is technically better than a good chunk of the others and he is the only player that can ring bring the ball out of defence...

    But...

He has been the root cause of giftting sides goals. This isn't the first time he hasn't done the basics and its led to a goal. At this level a goal can cost a point (or 2 at Blackpool).

Therefore would try wood an Morgan at cb. Yes not the fastest most skilful pairing but solid and better markers who will do the basics right even if they struggle to bring the ball out. Therefore Smallwood will have to drop deep to receive or repla

Only if Smallwood is out I'd switch Arnie to midfield. What about looking at Mark Beevers, said we were interested start of season.

Miller67..The term 'drop' was based on the fact our Manager spoke on the radio that Arni...nobody else...was at fault for both goals so if he thinks a player is that bad to berate and belittle him on radio does it leave him with the thought of dropping him? that is why I posted it in that context...

He blasted him for the mess up at Blackpool...how many more times is he going to single him out? I tell you why he does because he does drop massive clangers that cost us points and games...personally I'd move him to midfield and see if he can't break up play for us and create something magical for our 'forwards'

Some of the sliding passes Arni delivered yesterday along with turning attackers in circles and bringing the ball out himself was
