Have tics signed a crocked player? guess time will tell.
    I wouldn't be surprised!

    That's a bit harsh.
He's more tricks about him than a fairground monkey and, on his day, can get around anyone. His final pass/finishing is tho a bit ropey.
Like the others who've gone, we wouldn't have won the cup without him and for just that we should be eternally grateful.
I would however now take the £4.5m.

MIDDLESBROUGH are poised to announce the signing of Wigan Athletic midfielder Adam Forshaw.

Forshaw, who has also played for Brentford since graduating from Everton's academy, was at Boro's Rockliffe Park training ground this morning to complete the formalities of a £2m switch from the DW Stadium.

The central midfielder is effectively a permanent replacement for Milos Veljkovic, who has returned to Spurs after a loan spell on Teesside, and will swell a central-midfield unit that already boasts Grant Leadbitter, Adam Clayton and Dean Whitehead.

The 23-year-old Liverpudlian is expected to sign a three-and-a-half year deal within the next 24 hours, and should be available for Saturday's promotion clash with his former club, Brentford, at Griffin Park.

He was Brentford's Player of the Year last season, before making a £4m move to Wigan in the summer.

He has scored one goal in 17 appearances for the Latics, but with the Lancashire club struggling in the Championship relegation zone, ch

    Bid rejected

According to Algameen Dagblad reporter Mikos Gouka, who claims to have an English source, Wigan have offered €800,000 for the Feyenoord attacker, but the Eredivisie side are holding out for at least €1 million.

The difference in valuation is not far, and if Wigan up their offer then a deal could be reached before the transfer window shuts on the 2nd of February. The 23-year-old has scored eight goals in 20 appearances this season, but he is hoping to leave Rotterdam in search for more regular first team action.

If Te Vrede does leave for Wigan, Feyenoord will be looking to sign a replacement, with ex-Vitesse striker Mike Havenaar the number one target.

Can't see this happening... We apparently only want loan players?

to cash in on Forshaw is a real bonus... . we should be spending some of the money from the sale of CM and AF on a couple of new signings... as in the striker for € 1 m .. £ 750,000... not exactly breaking the bank..
