Totally without fear, and he'll get some part of his anatomy, preferably his head, on anything that comes into the box.

Which is just what Tranmere need at the moment, because the team to go down other than Hartlepool is by no means clear-cut right now.

Exactly a year ago we'd just lost at Prenton Park and they looked more likely to survive. Now Tranmere find that the Conference beckons.

Just shows how things can 'break bad', and how imperative it is for us to stay at twentieth or higher.

It's official, Mr Crewe (the man who has always given his all for this club) has departed for Tranmere. Wishing Duggie all the very best with his new club.

Good luck to Adam , a great servant to the club.

In his time at Crewe we may have had better players, but none with more commitment, effort and loyalty to the club.

Lets hope his career at Tranmere is just as prosperous

All the best to Duggy...a top guy, always gave 100% and will be missed.

In football terms, it was the right decision for the club and the player.

I cannot see anything on OS or BBC football but I had it from impeccable source last week that Duggie was going to Tranmere.
Whatever else you might say about him you cannot say he was not totally committed to the Alex and always gave his all in matches. I am sorry to see him go and wish him all the best.

So with Adam Dugdale not being that "experienced" defender to go out on loan, as he has signed on an 18 month deal with Tranmere, then who is the man to gain valuable first team football away from the Alexandra Stadium?

Could it be Matt Tootle, in an effort to rebuild match fitness once again?

Be surprised if Tootle went out on loan for match fitness.

Given that it looks highly likely that he has already played his last game for the Alex what would be the point ?
