We have 3 strikers who have scored 11 goals each plus Paton to back them up. The area where we have nothing is in centre mid. Unless McKenna comes back we are constantly going to be overrun in that position. We need options to make changes when mcshane is having an off day.

"Jordan Morton - former Hearts striker is desperate to get back playing after returning from a spell in Bulgaria with Lokomotiv Plovdiv" currently training with QoS. - googled him and soccerbase have him down as "winger" BUT point is we have to believe Mr Fowler is looking! Plus looking at our squad list yesterday (which incidentally showed two more players than the current Hibernian team) includes a Salim Kouider-Aissa, what position does he play??
Fernando Morientes...is still playing at 38 in Spanish Regional. He come back because he said that he loves football and love play every sunday.

Salims an under 20's striker out on loan at some junior team I think
He's a striker, have seen him play a number of times for the 20'sOriginally Posted by billyqos
and IMO he's nowhere near good enough for the first team, Lyndon
Dykes looked a far better prospect.
Why not play Russell as a striker? Paul Burns can play out wide in Midfield. Would strengthen us up defensively too as Holt gets caught out of position quite often and Russell doesn't provide the same protection for him.
I'd also give Beaney a shot up front.
One of my (very few admittedly) frustrations with the team this year have been the lack of goals from what seems like a shed load of chances. Beaney is always in space and often gets missed. I commented yesterday that it felt like he needed a flashing shirt so the rest of the lads could see him.
If he could create space like that up front I reckon he would be banging them in for fun. Burns showed some great touches yesterday and has a great head for the game so he could easily be back in again.
We can't afford to keep squandering chances in front of goal if we want to be up there for the playoffs. Too many other teams snapping at our heels.

Reilly looked to be struggling yesterday and a good bit off the pace until about the last ten mins. Bit of an enigma that. Has he got any knocks?
Queens season was going so well when we had either Lyle or Baird on the bench to bring on.
That's the problem now, - we simply don't have a quality sub to cause problems for other teams in the last 20 - 30 minutes.
Saturday was a prime example; Lyle and Gavin ran their socks off and there was simply nothing left in the tank for the last half hour. (No disrespect to Gav or Del - they gave 100%)However, if we'd then been able to bring Baird on par exemple, Hibs would have been in trouble.
Baird has left the club, but we have 5 days left to fill his shoes and if we can then we have a chance of getting to the play-offs.
If we don't the season is over, - it is as simple as that.
