This is the thing. Not sure where the o.p is getting 23,000 from.

The last I saw from Aberdeen officially was that 'sales are approaching 20,000'. Earlier in the week sales were confirmed by AFC as being over 19,000.

So probably fair to say by game time there'll be 20,000 Aberdeen fans there.

No idea if the 7,000 figure for Dundee Utd is accurate.

Ach weel, this little pjm with her post says it is all about money money money :

Indeed the pot is split, which is the norm at semi final stage regarding tickets/TV etc, however most supporters are there to support their team and not worry about divvying up, unless perhaps said poster has hee haw to divvy up, shame

    That's not what I've heard.
I think what's happened here is that he's made them up in order to get some sort of reaction.

People who go on about attendances should be shot up the @rse with a nuclear missile.

A while back Hearts played Aberdeen in a SCSF at Hampden on a Saturday with a 3pm KO and was not live on TV

Hampden was being refurbished at the time and could only cater for 38k fans. It was agreed that Hearts would get 22k and Aberdeen 16k

Hearts sold out in two days with no public sale.Aberdeen sold around 8k for the game and refused Hearts request for some of there end

    It is true Rita

Theres even footage on Youtube with Sheep end half empty

The sheep hate the fact that Hearts have a far bigger support, even when we are in the championship
