Thread: Burnley defend the indefensible

    Burnley defend the indefensible

This is in no way a dig at our near neighbours who reaped significant rewards from a referees incompetent display.

But no doubt Sean Dyche felt obliged to defend his own player,Ashley Barnes(who hasnt had that bad a season to be honest). But the challenge was truly horrific and could have ended Matics career. So the words "momentum" and "pendulum motion"come into play.I would be absolutely seething if this had happened to one of our players by Burnley.

However, its fair to say Burnley took it all in their stride, and attacked Chelsea, equalising, and looked the more likely team to win the game at the end(from highlights seen,at least). All this with a team costing zero pence contrasting with Chelseas countless millions..
Once this run of very hard games is over,Burnley can look forward to a softer end-of-season run in than any other bottom club. If Dyche finishes the season with Burnley in a barn-storming 17th position,he is hands-down Manager of the Year, even if Chelse

How long have you followed the Mighty Clarets Bob?
    Are you enjoying the season?

Did you know that you can actually discuss Burnley every single day with like minded fans, as they also created a Clarets Mad aswell as Rovers Mad. Think of the amount of responses you'll get on that site in comparison to this (hate to point out nobody gives a flying ****e about then on here). I thought I'd point it out, if you need a link I'll get it you.

It wasn't even a challenge Bob, Ash is passing the ball to Jones, their player comes in very late and gets caught by the follow through. Referee and FA assessor both agree, end of.

Whats your problem champs? Im only trying to tell things as I see them, not how I might like them to be.

    :/

Anyone who knows anything at all about Rovers history would never have a nickname like mine if he were a claret.

    No problem at all Bob.
You, Alf, Yorky, Stan your all welcome. But the other Burnley lads tend to join in with Rovers chat on her, and chat mostly on CM about Clarets stuff.

Just mostly you post about Burnley. ie Sat...your one and only post reacting to our point was to mention (in length) about Burnley and Sean Dyche (again). How you go from us in the Champ to Burnley kind of gives it away a bit. And it's fine. I just feel you can chat more with like minded fans by chatting to fellow Clarets on CM, maybe you didn't know it existed? I dunno ...

Absolutely agree Yorky.. Mourinho has done his best to manipulate the media away from Chelsea dropping two points against the clarets.. Hope Citeh beat them to the title.

If you want some more ammunition to mock your premier league neighbours, they seem to sin bin those with dissenting opinions.

I'm assuming that's why i've been binned because i've not been abusive towards anyone.
