I think it is more competitive at the top end and less competitive at the bottom end.
So Steve mac says in the Steve Nicholson column today in the DET. But hey what does he know. He obviously doesn't come on this forum and check out all the post that some folk put on here saying the Division is weaker than last season.
I think it is more competitive at the top end and less competitive at the bottom end.

It's tougher only in certain contexts. There is no one team running away with it from early on, unlike last season. If Leicester had been in this division doing this year what they did last (comfortably) then we would probably be competing for one auto spot instead of 2.
Are there more teams competing for the auto's this year? Yes, last year it was Burnley, QPR and Derby chasing one remaining place. This year there are at least 7, possibly 8, sides in the running but they are still chasing 2 spots, not just one.
Is the league harder because of the quality of teams coming down (as many predict from one year to the next) then I would say no, it isn't. Only one
How does one measure it being harder or weaker? One team or two teams running away with it, may signify it is weak as teams are less competitive, this year i doubt leicester or Burnley would ahev run away with it, unless they had strengthened as we and Boro have done.
Its deffo more competitive and looks like being tight all the way to the end, BUT all we have to do is keep winning and we are up... SIMPLES!
I think it's tougher than last year.
Just looking at our next three fixtures and I think if we secure 7 points I'd be very happy taking us into three massive games which I think will decide where we finish.
I'm taking nothing for granted.

Its certainly the case that we cannot afford many slip ups!
