A sad loss. He was a great player and an inspiration. I wonder what he would have thought of the modern player with their soft ways.
He was in the great teams of the sixties when I started watching Spurs.
    R.I.P. Legend.

    R.I.P. Dave Mackay.

Sadly another legendary gentleman of the beautiful game passes away, He plied his trade in a time when the game was far tougher, played with honour and fairness, Dave Mackay was just one of the many humble gentlemen that graced the field of thier trade and entertained the thousands that, week in/out flocked to the terraces to chear on thier heros. Dave Mackay will live forever in the hearts of many supporters north and south of the border.

    Gone but never forgotten.
