Think it was a Miller who pointed out on FH tonite that Steve Evans deliberately enjoyed winding up Wednesday fans - we can't resist taking the bait and...that this amused Rovrum fans.
There's no doubt Evans is articulate...but I'm not sure his Wednesday wind-ups are calculated - his actions speak louder than words.
The public humiliation when he heffalumped like a mad raging bull across the pitch...in front of Wednesday fans, before the game had finished...followed by a sheepish and cringeworthy congratulations to Stuart Gray - just pure emotion coming out!
Only too obvious the season-defining effect that had on him....and the hurt remains!
Contrast the style of Evans with Paul Dickov....measured, understated and self assured...none of the puerile references
