Martinez: No decision over Alcaraz future yet.



Everton manager Roberto Martinez insists that no decision has been made on whether to extend the contract on all players who are out of contract this summer and that includes Antolin Alcaraz.

The Paraguayan centre-back was brought to Goodison Park as the fourth choice defender, but following injuries to key players and form has had to play his part in quite a few games this season.

Martinez insisted that any offers will be held off until the summer

“We have a window in the summer to decide. It is too early to tell what will happen,” the Toffees boss told reporters.

“I am sure the next eight games will tell us a lot about what is going to be the situation of every player at the club, not just the ones who are out of contract.”

I think Martinez is just sparing his feelings.

Have a feeling he'll hang on to Alcaraz but may show Distin the door on the Summer. To be honest though, you can never tell will Martinez :/
