    Charlton's season ended on a low note and in a disappointing fashion as they were beaten by the eventual Champions after back-to-back promotions. Eddie Howe's Bournemouth find themselves in the Premier League for the first time in their club's history.

    Charlton themselves who were in 10th place last week, finish in a respectable 12th which is to all the doom mongers on various message boards out there, a considerable improvement on last season and earlier this one when all the talk was of relegation and it was thanks to Guy Luzon's coaching that the players turned it round recording a series of 3-0 wins along the way.

    Goals came for Bournemouth from ex-Addick Harry Arter on 12 minutes and Matt Ritchie on 10 and 85 minutes.

    Within 12 minutes, Ritchie scored from a stunning low 25-yard strike and Arter, took advantage of a defensive lapse to place past Stephen Henderson from the edge of the area.
