It's a horrible situation to be in, as although we need to win, and I hope that's what we do, I can't help feeling that that will just prolong the agony for us and make it all the harder to take when we are officially consigned to 11th. The longer this goes on for us, the harder its going to be for us to lift ourselves properly for the playoffs as can you imagine us hanging in there until the final match and falling just short? The psychological knock on would be massive and it would be even more difficult for us to go into the playoffs in the right frame of mind against a side with upward momentum and brimming with confidence.

The damage has been done as we have put in too many shocking displays throughout the season and are where we deserve to be, and the last two outings cemented our fate, so as I said, while I hope we win
