    re: The Quo

It's supposed to be dry later so hopefully rain stays off and the big yelli felli pops out later. Really looking forward to tonight and I hope that the club make enough dough to reinvest and again to improve on a similar event next year. Mon the South

A brilliant night with a just stunning performance by Quo. The stadium was bouncing and everyone seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. Well done to the South and all those behind the scenes for organizing this event. Please can we have some more.

    re: The Quo

An absolutely brilliant night at Palmy last night. Reef were rough but Big Country were pretty good and Quo were sublime.

It's amazing how some people will complain at the price of the tickets to watch Quo in their home town, but think nothing of spending considerably more on the entrance fee in say Manchester for the same band, forgetting that they also have to add in travel costs, food and possibly hotel accommodation as well!

Queen of the South FC and in particular Victoria Thomson need to be applauded for bringing such a wonderful evening to Dumfries. The fact that there is also a spin-off in terms of making the club more sustainable should not be overlooked even by those supporters who are serial complainers of how the club is run.

    Can we have more please?

How about simple minds , deacon blue and runrig.
I thought last night was a tremendous event. A real great community night. The number of people I hadn't seen for long enough added to the occasion.
I hope the the club have made revenue and its enough to allow then to continue with this great venture. There was defineately a feel good factor in the stadium yesterday. It was great to be part of it.
Would have liked to have had big country second as I thought they were more suited to getting the crowd going.
Overall what a fantastic way to spend an evening.
